The domestic survival game SCUM continues to expand its survival systems with a new thematic season Into the Wild, which will bring three interconnected updates over the next two months. The first update is already available and focuses on the hunting aspect of the game.
New features include more detailed tracking of animals, setting traps, and a system where the quality of the catch depends on how the animal was hit. Players can now store excess meat in the smokehouse, further deepening survival and resource management.
The Into the Wild season won't just focus on hunting. The next updates are planned for June and July 2026, and they should further expand fishing, cooking, farming, and other related systems. Among the practical new features is automatic sorting of items in the inventory, one of the most requested functions among players.
SCUM is available for PC, developed by Gamepires and Croteam, and published by Devolver Digital.
