PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on July 30, 2026. The publisher CobraTekku Games and developer Kasur Games have confirmed that the console versions will arrive on the same day as the major “Chaos” update for the game. Verho was previously released for PC via Steam and GOG on November 10, 2025, and is now getting a chance to find a new audience among players who enjoy a slower, more anxious, and deliberately old-fashioned approach to action RPGs.
The game's story is set in a world afflicted by the Curse of Faces, where discovering one's own face means instant death. After 264 years of the so-called Era of Solitude, masks have become the only form of protection, but also a symbol of a new order in which people can no longer rely on their own identity. Players are led to the land of Yariv, where they must find the source of the curse and decide whether to attempt to remove it or use its power for their own goals. Verho: Curse of Faces clearly targets an audience looking for a dark atmosphere, exploration of dangerous locations, and an RPG experience that owes more to the old FromSoftware games than to modern action blockbusters.
