Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is recording excellent results on Steam, where it quickly reached nearly 100,000 concurrent players shortly after its release. With a peak of 99,451 users, this is the best result that any Assassin's Creed game has achieved on Valve's platform.
This means that Black Flag Resynced has surpassed Assassin's Creed Shadows, which reached just under 65,000 concurrent players last year, as well as earlier installments like Odyssey and Origins.
Although the game attracted a large number of players, the first impressions are not entirely positive. Part of the community criticizes the fact that the cinematic sequences are locked at 30 FPS, but Ubisoft has confirmed that this is a bug that will be fixed.
Dissatisfaction has also been caused by the large number of microtransactions available immediately upon the game's release.
Despite the criticisms, Black Flag Resynced is experiencing an exceptionally strong start and has become the most successful launch of any Assassin's Creed title on Steam.
