The adventure game Quiet Express: Cabin 909 is set to release in 2027 for PC via Steam. The game is being developed by STUDIO 909 and Kazuhide Oka, and it will be available in English, Japanese, Korean, as well as traditional and simplified Chinese.
The story follows a journey on the Quiet Express train, which crosses the continent over seven days. The player explores the carriages in search of Cabin 909, a room that officially does not exist. During the journey, they meet various passengers, listen to their stories, and solve their requests, while a larger mystery gradually unfolds behind it all.
A unique feature of the game is the repetition of the same seven days after a catastrophic train accident. The goal is to uncover the truth about Cabin 909 and find a way to prevent the tragedy before arriving at the final station.
