Sony has revealed the official program for San Diego Comic Con, the largest conference related to the world of comics, which will take place in San Diego from July 23 to July 26, 2026. Three exciting panels have been prepared, along with many other activities that will be set up around the convention center.
Marvel's Wolverine - Deep Cuts (July 23 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT, Hall H)
Creative director Marcus Smith, game director Mike Daly, story director Walt Williams, and senior project director Jess Reiner-Reed from Insomniac Games will join actors Liam McIntyre (Wolverine), Kriza Bajos (Jean Grey), and executive producer of Marvel Games Eric Monacelli to reveal news about the highly anticipated Marvel's Wolverine coming to PlayStation 5 on September 15. The panel will unveil details about the story, characters, and never-before-seen content, moderated by Naomi Kyle (former IGN journalist).
MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls – Behind the Battle (July 23 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. PT, Hall H)
Popular esports commentator Sajam, game producer Takeshi Yamanaka (Arc System Works), voice director Amber Seitz (Arc System Works), and senior product development manager Michael Francisco (Marvel Games) will explain how the development process went and what role MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls plays in the Marvel universe. In addition to them, Mike Deodato (Marvel artist and illustrator for the Knights of Doom team) and voice actor Josh Keaton (Spider-Man, Iron Man) will be there to show us behind-the-scenes content and some surprises.
God of War Laufey – Forging God of War‘s Next Heroes (July 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. PT, Ballroom 20)
Game director Ariel Lawrence and head of Santa Monica Studio Cory Balrog will lead an in-depth discussion with the cast: Deborah Ann Woll (Laufey), Chris Judge (Kratos), Jack Quaid (Phranque), and Perlina Lau (Rue) for the first time since the game was revealed. The panelists will share the latest news about the heroes from God of War Laufey and reveal behind-the-scenes details and what it felt like to bring the characters to life through motion capture.
Activities around the convention center
From July 23 to July 26, players will have the opportunity to take pictures with Wolverine and take home a replica of his claws and a prequel comic written by story director Walt Williams. In downtown, there will also be a Wolverine-themed trailer where you can enjoy a Madripoor Sunrise Slushie and take photos with a giant Sentinel head.
Those eagerly awaiting MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls can head to the San Diego Ballroom located in the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, where they will have the chance to play this title and take photos with statues of Doctor Doom and Storm.
