Team Clout and Mundfish Powerhouse have showcased a new trailer for ILL and confirmed the game's release in 2027.

Team Clout and Mundfish Powerhouse have presented a new story trailer for the survival horror ILL during last night's State of Play presentation. The new showcase provided the most comprehensive look at the project so far, and it has been confirmed that the release is planned for 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The trailer was recorded on PlayStation 5 Pro and features new characters, locations, weapons, and monsters, with an emphasis on grotesque body horror and brutal combat scenes. ILL is a realistic first-person action survival horror that combines cinematic atmosphere, environmental exploration, physical interactions, and resource scarcity.

The game's story is set in a large research complex where terrifying Aberrations awaken. The player must survive encounters with dangerous creatures, uncover what happened in the complex, and fight for what matters most to them. Although the game offers firearms, ammunition will not be plentiful, so survival will often depend on improvisation, close combat, and using items from the environment.

The developers particularly highlight the advanced dismemberment system, realistic weapon handling, and physical interactions, such as throwing bricks to stun opponents or ripping pipes from walls that degrade with use. Team Clout draws on experience from the film industry, having worked on projects such as Until Dawn, IT: Welcome to Derry, V/H/S/Beyond, Longlegs, and Azrael.

Game director and Team Clout director Max Verehin stated that the studio is excited to finally confirm the tentative release of the game and introduce new types of monsters and important characters. Mundfish director Robert Bagratuni added that ILL aims not only for visual realism but also wants to create a horror experience that feels exceptionally real.

ILL can be added to wish lists via Steam, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store, with the game's release expected in 2027.
