Nintendo has announced that it will shut down support for the mobile game Mario Kart Tour on September 30 at 9:00 AM Croatian time. Along with the shutdown of the service, the sale of rubies, which were used in the Spotlight Shop, Mii Racing Suit Shop, and Coin Rush, has also been immediately halted.

New subscriptions and automatic renewals for the Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass have also been stopped. Nintendo has also released additional information about how the Gold Pass will function until the end of support for the game.

Mario Kart Tour was first released on September 25, 2019, for iOS and Android, and with the shutdown of the service, its active life cycle comes to an end.
