The upcoming post-apocalyptic adventure combines fishing, survival, crafting gear, and fighting mutated creatures.

DREADMOOR puts players at the helm of a fishing boat in a world that is collapsing after a catastrophic human error. Coastal regions have ended up underwater, the remaining land is rotting in swamps, and the Sea Blight has distorted life into a new and dangerous ecosystem. Players will sail between settlements, explore wrecks, caves, and abandoned buildings, gather resources, and hunt rare and dangerous species.

Fishing will not be just a peaceful activity. The Steam description highlights skill-based fishing, survival crafting, exploration, and real-time combat against mutated creatures at sea and on land. Catches can be sold to mysterious traders, used to craft special baits, or disassembled for valuable parts. Players must also pay attention to the ship's storage as sea creatures can devour each other.

According to Rostislav Fedorov, director of Dream Dock, the ship is a lifeline in this world, but players will not always be tied to it. DREADMOOR will also offer land exploration, encounters with survivors, and learning their stories before heading back into dangerous waters.

DREADMOOR is set to release for PC via Steam in the fourth quarter of 2026. The Steam page currently lists support for single-player, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing.
