After the controversy surrounding microtransactions in EA Sports College Football 27, players have expressed concerns that a similar system could come to EA Sports FC 27, specifically in the popular Career Mode.
The producer of Career Mode, Andreas Wilsdorf, responded to these rumors on social media, stating that there are currently no plans to introduce microtransactions in Career Mode. He added that he cannot reveal details about new features yet, but believes this will be "a good year for Career Mode fans."
Concerns arose after College Football 27 allowed players to pay for faster upgrades for coaches in single-player mode, which sparked numerous criticisms from the community.
Although Wilsdorf's statements provide some relief, they do not represent an official confirmation that such changes will never happen.
