SCS Software has announced a new feature for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. In the upcoming update 1.60, both games will receive Game Radio, a new radio station system designed to enhance the atmosphere during long drives.
Unlike the previous option of listening to internet radio stations, Game Radio brings specially designed stations within the game itself. Each will have its own identity, musical vibe, and style, making driving through Europe and the United States feel more immersive and relaxing.
Initially, five radio stations will be available: Rust FM, Roadside Radio, Big Rig FM, Trucker FM, and Smooth Drive. SCS Software states that this is just the first step for Game Radio, which will be further developed in the future.
Game Radio arrives as part of update 1.60 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. The exact release date of the update has not yet been announced, but the studio is gradually revealing new features that will be included in this version.
