During the PC Gaming Show and Future Games Show, held as part of the Summer Game Fest 2026, three new trailers for upcoming indie games were presented. The focus was on Prison of Husks, Spellsided, and Witchspire, three different projects covering Soulslike action, an RPG with magical dice, and a cooperative adventure with witches.
Glass Head Dolls confirmed during the Future Games Show that Prison of Husks is coming to PlayStation later in 2026, alongside the previously planned PC release. It is a nostalgic Soulslike set in a painted afterlife world, where players take on the role of a doll exploring a grim and artistically crafted environment in search of a loved one. The game will offer character customization, boss fights, and the discovery of secrets throughout the unusual world.
Spellsided, an RPG from Mass Transfer Interactive, was presented with a new trailer during the PC Gaming Show, and a demo version is already available on Steam. The game is set in a colorful tabletop world and is based on building magical dice. Players will discover and combine spells to change the world around them, with an emphasis on tactical thinking and experimenting with different combinations.
Witchspire received a new gameplay trailer a few days before its Early Access release, scheduled for June 10, 2026, during the Future Games Show and Green Games showcase. It is a magical cooperative adventure that can be played solo or with friends. Players will explore the world on foot or on a broom, gather resources, craft items, befriend creatures, and fight against the corruption spreading across the world.
