Changes have been announced for the Battle Pass system in Battlefield 6, which will allow players to reacquire some cosmetic items from previous seasons.
Starting from Season 4, selected content from earlier Battle Passes will return to the in-game store in the form of individual items or bundles. These items will reappear no earlier than three months after the end of the season in which they were originally available.
However, not all content will return. Instant Unlock rewards, BF Pro Instant Unlock items, and rewards from the Ultimate and Prestige paths will remain permanently exclusive to the season in which they were introduced.
The goal of this change is to allow new and returning players to acquire cosmetic items they missed while maintaining the value and exclusivity of the most special rewards for those who completed the Battle Pass during the season.
The studio added that it will continue to monitor community reactions and adjust how older content returns to the game as needed.
