After numerous player criticisms, EA Sports will remove microtransactions from the Dynasty and Road to Glory modes in College Football 27.

EA Sports has announced that it will remove microtransactions from EA Sports College Football 27 following strong player reactions.

Negative reactions emerged shortly after the game's release, when paid progression options were introduced in the single-player modes Dynasty and Road to Glory. Players could spend real money to upgrade their coaches and players faster, which sparked significant discontent within the community.

In a social media post, the development team acknowledged that they had "missed the mark" and confirmed that they would remove all paid progression options from the mentioned modes.

While the decision has received positive reactions from players, it is unknown whether a similar system will return in the future in some different form. For now, EA has decided to abandon microtransactions in the offline part of the game and respond to community criticism.
