Although The Kortz Center Heist officially arrives in Grand Theft Auto Online on July 14, Rockstar has already allowed players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to download the update.
This is a pre-load, which means that the files can be downloaded in advance, but the content will not be available for play until the official release. On PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, the update will only be available for download on the release day.
The download size is approximately 1.9 GB on PlayStation 5 and 5.11 GB on Xbox Series X|S, so most players should be able to download the update very quickly.
The Kortz Center Heist brings a new art museum heist, which can be played solo, although the experience is still tailored for cooperative play. Before starting the heist, players will need to purchase the Art Studio expansion for their villa, which serves as a base for mission preparation.
Many expect that The Kortz Center Heist will be the last major update for GTA Online before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, marking the end of an important era for Rockstar's long-standing online game.
