Home / News / Ingrid has arrived in Street Fighter 6 and concluded the third year of additional content.

Ingrid is available today in Street Fighter 6, along with new World Tour content, Avatar Arcade mode, free DriveTech costumes, and a new round of combat adjustments.

Capcom has officially added Ingrid to the roster of Street Fighter 6 today. The new fighter is available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms via Steam, and can be used in all three main game modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub.

Ingrid first appeared in Capcom Fighting Evolution in 2004 and later returned in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX in 2006. In Street Fighter 6, she comes as a character who uses cosmic energy and the power of the sun, with a fighting style that combines long-range attacks, quick entries into the opponent's space, and control of the pace of the fight.

Players can unlock her through the Street Fighter 6 Year 3 Character Pass, Year 3 Ultimate Pass, or by purchasing her individually using Fighter Coins. Upon release, she comes with two costumes. Outfit 1 is based on her distinctive interdimensional clothing, while Outfit 2 is inspired by her appearance from Capcom Fighting Evolution, including a purple school uniform. The second costume can be unlocked with Fighter Coins, maximum bond in World Tour mode, or by filling the Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade mode.

Ingrid's arrival in Metro City also brings the final chapter of the World Tour story, rounding off the third year of additional content for Street Fighter 6. Along with her, two new modes arrive: Random Avatar Matches and Avatar Arcade.

Random Avatar Matches allow players to fight avatars with different combinations of fighting styles, special moves, and equipment, but with fixed levels and statistics. Avatar Arcade, on the other hand, pits players' avatars against CPU masters, allowing them to learn their styles, strengthen relationships, and unlock special moves. This mode also features Battle Tours, through which endings from previous Street Fighter games can be viewed.

With Ingrid's release, the Year 3 cycle for Street Fighter 6 comes to an end. Outfit 3 is now available for Ingrid and other Year 3 characters, including Sagat, C. Viper, and Alex. Capcom has also added Sporty DriveTech costumes for all characters for free, as well as 28 new New Challenger illustrations created by contest winners.

Ingrid's arrival is accompanied by a new round of Battle Adjustment changes and bug fixes, while the complete patch notes are available on Buckler’s Boot Camp page.
