Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6 has sold seven million copies worldwide. According to the latest report (March 31, 2026), 6.7 million copies have been sold, which means that 300,000 copies have been sold so far.
Street Fighter 6 originally launched for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X/S on June 2, 2023, after which a version for Nintendo Switch 2 was released on June 5, 2025. This sequel introduced the evolution of the series and was developed in RE Engine, and it also featured a story called World Tour where we created our own character and completed various missions while meeting different characters.
At the Summer Game Fest last Friday, we also learned that Street Fighter 6 will enter its fourth year and that additional fighters will be added to the game: Yasmine (August 3, 2026), Arjun (Fall 2026), Bosch (Spring 2027), and Tifa from Final Fantasy VII Remake (early 2027).
