Capcom has officially confirmed that their latest title, Street Fighter 6, has surpassed an impressive 5 million copies sold worldwide.
After launching on June 2, 2023 for PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and the recent release of the Nintendo Switch2 version on June 5, 2025, SF6 has reached this significant milestone, continuing the momentum of over 4 million copies sold as early as September 2024.
This figure not only confirms Street Fighter 6 as a commercial success, but also the last proof of the golden age of the genre of fighting games of all generations. As a series that celebrates its 38th anniversary this year, Capcom further strengthens its position as one of the leading fighting publishers - Street Fighter the franchise has sold more than 56 million copies in total!
Capcom plans to further expand the game through new DLC characters and eSports activities, and further attract both loyal fans and new players.
