Capcom Spotlight brought a new look at two major fantasy titles coming this year.

Capcom showcased fresh materials for Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen during the new Capcom Spotlight, two games that will obviously be the biggest titles the company will release this year. Onimusha: Way of the Sword received a five-minute Game Overview trailer and new screenshots, along with the first concrete display of the enemy Dohatsu-ten, a fast and brutal Genma warrior clashing with Miyamoto Musashi. Capcom also confirmed that pre-orders are open, while the demo is already available on most platforms. The game is set to release on September 25, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

The other major focus was Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, an expansion that takes players to the cold region of Norgan and brings a new story, 12 challenging dungeons, additional character appearance options, and a relic exploration system. Capcom announced a major update for the base game at the end of August, featuring performance improvements, additional save slots, tweaks to the Dragonsplague system, and an increase in the number of weapon skill slots from four to six. Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen is set to release on October 9, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
