007 First Light is in its first week of release and has already achieved excellent success. According to claims from IO Interactive, the game sold 1.5 million copies in just the first 24 hours after its release, making it the fastest-selling title for the company.
According to an analysis by Alinea Analytics, one third of the sold copies come from the PC platform (Steam), and one third of players have also played previous titles in the Hitman series. By the number of players, the highest is in the USA (29%), followed by China (18%). Sales were also boosted by various media reviews stating that this is one of the better games based on the character of James Bond.
