Re-Logic has revealed impressive sales figures, high player activity, and new plans for the future of the game on the occasion of Terraria's 15th anniversary.

Terraria has reached yet another major milestone. Studio Re-Logic announced on the occasion of the game's 15th anniversary that their popular sandbox title has sold over 70 million copies worldwide.

The largest portion of sales comes from PC, where Terraria has sold 39.6 million copies. The mobile version has reached 19.7 million copies sold, while console versions together have achieved 10.7 million copies sold.

Re-Logic highlighted strong community activity alongside the sales figures. Over the past year, Terraria has averaged around 461 thousand players daily on PC, with the highest daily player count reaching 1.4 million. The average playtime per player is 101 hours and 18 minutes.

The studio confirmed that work on the game continues even after the upcoming version 1.4.6 and crossplay update. Terraria has already been expected to receive its “final” major update several times over the years, but Re-Logic now clearly states that they still have plans for the future.

Terraria was originally released in 2011, and 15 years later it remains one of the most successful indie titles of all time.
