Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party? will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on September 30, 2026, in the western market, while the Japanese release is scheduled for October 1, 2026.
This is a board game RPG from the studio Sting, which combines social game-like exploration, dice rolling, deck building, and strategic combat. Each adventure takes place on procedurally generated maps, with randomly placed enemies and events, which should ensure a high level of replayability.
The story leads players into the mysterious world of Viractalia, where the boundary between reality and fantasy gradually blurs. Players progress through fields, collect cards, create their own combinations, and face powerful bosses at the end of each level. Interestingly, bosses can be attacked even before they fully awaken, opening up space for riskier but potentially faster strategies.
Viractal also supports online multiplayer, including voice chat. The Devil’s Whisper system stands out, a betrayal mechanic where players can seemingly cooperate with the rest of the team while secretly working for their own benefit. This element is expected to add extra tension to cooperative gameplay.
The Steam version of the game is already available and currently has a user rating of “Very Positive.” Sting states that the game has received regular updates after its PC release, including new characters, levels, and improvements based on player feedback. Similar support is planned for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch versions.
Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party? will support English, Japanese, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, and Korean languages. The price for the Nintendo Switch 2 release will be $24.99, while the Nintendo Switch version will cost $19.99. An upgrade from the Nintendo Switch version to Nintendo Switch 2 will be available for $4.99.
