FuRyu and Winning Entertainment Group have announced ANOMALITH, a new survival third-person shooter set to release on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The game will be available digitally in the western market, while in Japan, the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions will also receive a physical release.
ANOMALITH takes players into an alternate reality affected by spatial anomalies known as Otherworlds. The main character is Reona Minazuki, an investigator who awakens after a ten-year slumber within an anomaly called Sarcophagus. After waking up, she gains a special sensitivity to Otherworlds and joins the fight against a threat that the government office fails to stop.
The game combines third-person shooting, a survival horror atmosphere, exploration of unusual spaces, and resource management. Enemies will behave unpredictably, and players will need to pay attention to inventory, the environment, and dangers that change during missions. Reona will be able to unlock and upgrade special active and passive abilities related to anomalies through the Demi-Humanization System.
ANOMALITH will offer a wide selection of weapons, attachments, clothing items, and artifacts, along with over 300 cosmetic options for customizing the main heroine. The game is further endorsed by well-known names from the Japanese industry, including writer Romeo Tanaka, character designer MON, and composer Yuka Kitamura, known for her work on games like Elden Ring, Sekiro, Bloodborne, and Dark Souls III.
