Update 0.6 includes an updated shared memory library together with official MoTeC support, opening up broader telemetry and data output options for driver analysis, hardware integrations and deeper setup work. Audio has not been ignored either. Usability has also been cleaned up. The biggest long-term multiplayer development, however, is the start of the rollout of self-hosted game servers. With the first release of the Assetto Corsa EVO server executable via Steam tools, players can now begin setting up and hosting their own servers using core configuration features. Browser-based rental options remain available through the existing platform, but this move gives communities much more direct control over how they organise races, practice sessions and private events.
That is why v0.6 feels like a much bigger patch than the version number alone suggests.
