Drive Beyond Horizons is a survival game where every journey is different from the previous one. You have only a vehicle, a few basic supplies, and a vast open world at your disposal. The game combines elements of exploration, survival, resource management, and vehicle upgrades into a unique adventure that you can play solo or with friends up to four players.
During your journey, you will explore deserts, forests, and abandoned locations in search of fuel, parts, and valuable resources. The vehicle upgrade system is particularly important as you spend most of your time on the road, so you will constantly be repairing, upgrading, and customizing it to your taste.
The special charm of the game comes from its lighthearted side, so during exploration, you may encounter zombies, mines, unusual buildings, and even aliens. These elements combined with a couple of crazy friends provide a chaotic and unforgettable experience that you will gladly return to. Many players compare the game to The Long Drive, but they emphasize that Drive Beyond Horizons offers better graphics, more content, and a more detailed vehicle mechanic.
The biggest issues with the game currently are optimization, bugs, and repetitive gameplay, but since the game is still in Early Access development, there is plenty of time for these things to be fixed.
