Sunny Lab and Silver Lining Interactive have announced that The Witch’s Bakery will be released in August 2026 for Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
This is a warm adventure RPG game where players follow Lune, a young witch who opens her own magical bakery in the heart of modern Paris. The game combines a cozy atmosphere, magic, exploration, and a story about a new beginning, and it already has a successful Kickstarter campaign, over 150,000 wishlists on Steam, and very positive reactions to the demo version.
A special highlight is the musical collaboration with Cécile Corbel, a composer known for her work on the Studio Ghibli film The Secret World of Arrietty. Corbel will contribute her distinctive ethereal and fairy-tale sound to the atmosphere of Lune's Parisian journey, which can also be heard in the new trailer shown during the Cozy Game Awards Showcase.
For collectors, a physical edition of the game for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 has been confirmed. Pre-orders are already open through Silver Lining Direct and selected local stores, priced at £29.99, $34.99, or €34.99.
