Moss: The Forgotten Relic is coming out on July 16, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It is a fantasy adventure that combines Moss and Moss: Book II into one release, games that were previously known as VR titles, but are now coming in a revamped form for traditional play on consoles and PC.
Players once again follow Quill, a small but brave mouse who travels through a world reminiscent of a living fairy tale. Moss: The Forgotten Relic takes her through a fallen kingdom that nature is slowly reclaiming, featuring exploration, diorama puzzles, hidden secrets, and battles against ancient threats. The new version brings improved visuals and performance, new handcrafted cutscenes, a Smart Follow camera, all Twilight Garden additional content, and an option to skip combat for players who want to focus more on exploration and story.
Moss: The Forgotten Relic thus becomes the most comprehensive way to experience Quill's adventures, especially for players who previously did not have a VR device.
