Nintendo has announced Pictonico!, a new free-to-start action game for iOS and Android smart devices. The game is available through the Google Play Store and the App Store.
Pictonico! is designed as a fast and relaxed mobile game where players use their own photos or take new ones, and then insert them into a series of comedic mini-games. The idea is simple: friends, family members, and familiar faces from your gallery can suddenly find themselves in the midst of a zombie attack, unusual costumed scenes, carnival challenges, and other chaotic situations.
The basic version of the game is free to download, with several mini-games available, while additional content can be purchased through extra volume packs. A total of up to 80 mini-games of varying difficulty and pace can be unlocked.
It is particularly interesting that the pictures and videos created after the mini-games can be saved to the device and shared with friends and family. Nintendo notes that a Nintendo Account is not required to use the game and that users' photos are not sent to Nintendo.
Pictonico! is available for iOS and Android devices.
