Rhythm Paradise Groove is coming out on July 2 for Nintendo Switch, and the game will also be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. This is a new installment in Nintendo's rhythm series that brings over 80 new solo mini-games where everything revolves around music, timing, and unusual situations. Players will catch flying vegetables, bounce fruit with their biceps, swing mallets, and participate in a series of other short challenges that are easy to understand but require a precise sense of rhythm. In addition to solo content, Rhythm Paradise Groove includes over 30 cooperative and competitive rhythm games for up to four players on a single console.
A special feature of this release is Beatspell, a rhythmic RPG where progress through the story is based on casting spells using musical rhythm. New chapters are unlocked by achieving high scores in solo mini-games, while additional content includes Drum Lesson, Free Jam, Rhythm Toy Box, Café, and various hidden surprises. The game will feature original music and songs by Japanese musician Tsunku♂. A free demo version is also available on the Nintendo eShop, featuring the first five solo mini-games and the ability to transfer progress to the full version.
