One of the most popular horse racing games, Rival Stars Horse Racing, is now available on consoles. Developer and publisher PikPok has confirmed that the game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Xbox One, while the Nintendo Switch version will be available a bit later – on May 28.
After successful releases on PC, VR, and mobile devices, the game now rounds out its presence by arriving on consoles. Players can participate in various disciplines, including classic races, show jumping, cross-country, and steeplechase, with the goal of building their own reputation in the world of equestrian sports.
At the heart of the experience is a single-player campaign where you take over a neglected ranch and try to restore it to its former glory. Additionally, there is multiplayer available for competing with other players. A special emphasis is placed on realism – horses are animated using motion capture technology, and there is a detailed breeding system that allows you to create your own line of champion horses.
The game also offers free exploration (Free Roam), where you can ride through beautiful locations inspired by regions such as the Swiss Alps and the American Southwest, with the option to take photos in Photo Mode.
