The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales introduced the Age of Budding period, the earliest era in the adventure of Elliot and Faie, where humans fight against beastly tribes with their own weapons. NAMCO LEGENDARY Mountains has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by BeXide in collaboration with Bandai Namco, and it is a 3D puzzle title set to release this summer. A demo was planned for BitSummit PUNCH in Kyoto, which gives the game a clear connection to the Japanese indie and retro scene. City Connection is bringing back two of CAVE's arcade shoot 'em up titles, Muchi Muchi Pork! and PinkSweets: Ibara Sorekara, with a release date set for October 1, 2026. The package includes multiple versions and modes for both games, new arranged music, online leaderboards, and the ability to record replay data, making it an interesting release for fans of Japanese arcade shooters.
Japanese sales charts continue to show the dominance of Nintendo's releases. According to Famitsu data for the period from May 18 to May 24, 2026, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream remained the best-selling physical game in Japan with an additional 64,899 copies sold, while Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for Nintendo Switch 2 was the most successful new entry with 39,661 copies sold. The Nintendo Switch 2 sold 247,880 units that same week, further confirming its strong pace in the domestic market.
