Grand Theft Auto VI has finally received a confirmed price! Take-Two Interactive announced that the standard edition of the game will cost $79.99, while Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition will be available for $99.99. This confirms what has been speculated for a long time – GTA VI will be more expensive than the usual standard of $69.99 for major AAA games.
For now, the listed prices apply to the American market, so we still need to wait for the official confirmation of European prices. However, it is clear that Rockstar and Take-Two are targeting the premium segment with the new installment, which is not surprising given the scale of the project and the expectations that accompany each new Grand Theft Auto.
The Ultimate Edition will bring additional content in the form of exclusive vehicles, weapons, and clothing, which will be connected to the story of Jason and Lucia, the main protagonists of the game. Rockstar has not yet detailed all the content of the more expensive edition, but it has been confirmed that the additions will span various aspects of the campaign itself.
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI begin on June 25, 2026, in digital stores and with selected retailers, while the game's release is scheduled for November 19, 2026. The game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, while the PC version has not yet been officially announced.
