Capcom has introduced a special collaboration between the popular Japanese metal dance group BABYMETAL and the Resident Evil series, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the renowned survival horror franchise. This is a limited collection of official merchandise that is already available for pre-order through the BABYMETAL Official Online Store.
The collection includes a total of five products: The Ladies Tee, The Dolls Tee, Metal Outbreak Zip-Up Hoodie, The Ladies Acrylic Stand, and The Dolls Acrylic Keychain. Each item features special illustrations signed by Capcom collaborators Hinanana and GOTO. Hinanana is an illustrator, while GOTO is a graphic designer, and both have previously worked on Capcom projects, including special works for the 30th anniversary of Resident Evil and the Street Fighter series.
Pre-orders are open until June 26, 2026, at 11:59 PM through the official BABYMETAL online store. Since this is a time-limited collection, the products may become unavailable after the pre-order period ends.
Resident Evil is celebrating 30 years of existence this year. According to Capcom, the series has sold over 201 million copies to date, while the latest installment, Resident Evil Requiem, has become the fastest-selling game in the franchise's history.
Capcom announces that during the anniversary year, it will reveal more additional news related to the Resident Evil series.
