After numerous rumors during today's Summer Games Fest, Capcom has officially announced the remake of the original Code Veronica video game.
Resident Evil: Veronica will be released in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. More information about the game will be revealed later.
Following the release of this remake, the next in line should be the remake of the original first game in the series. Of course, there could always be some surprises, including a remake of Resident Evil 5 and 6.
It will be interesting to see what changes this modern version of the game originally released on Dreamcast will contain. And it's a shame that Dino Crisis is a forgotten series. I would give anything to be able to kill HD dinosaurs on the PlayStation 5 console!
