The latest feature of the device is the AquaCore Cooling System, the first dual active cooling system using both liquid and air in its class, designed for long-lasting and stable performance during gaming. Additionally, the device features gaming triggers, a large battery, and AI features optimized for gamers.
AquaCore cooling combines liquid and air
nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition uses a combination of liquid and air cooling for more efficient heat management. The system includes a piezoelectric micropump and a special cooling liquid, which continuously circulates through the device and dissipates heat from key components.
The built-in fan and Through-Flow design further enhance airflow, while the total cooling surface area of 33,652 mm² ensures stable performance even under prolonged load.
Gaming performance and control
The device comes with 550 Hz Neo Triggers 5.0 and 3049 Hz Instant Touch Rate technology, with latency of less than 5.5 ms. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor built on a 4 nm process, with up to 24 GB of dynamic RAM.
The 6,210 mAh battery supports 80 W fast charging (45 W in the EU) and bypass charging for gaming without additional heating. There is also a special mode that allows for an extra 30 minutes of gaming at just 5% battery.
144Hz AMOLED display and AI gaming features
nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition features a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. Stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra support further enhance the gaming experience.
A unique feature of the device is the AI Copilot Demi 2.0, which includes Gaming Coach, a chatbot, and automated chat responses to keep players focused during gameplay.
nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition will be available in July 2026, first in the markets of Southeast Asia. It comes in Surge Black and Glacial Silver colors, with 24 GB of RAM and options of 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage.
