Honeycomb Aeronautical has announced the Echo Aviation Controller XPC, a new controller designed for flight simulation enthusiasts. The device brings advanced flight commands to Xbox, and it will also support PC, making it a practical solution for playing Microsoft Flight Simulator from the comfort of your living room.

At first glance, the Echo Aviation Controller XPC looks like a classic gamepad, but within its compact design, it offers a range of controls for flight simulation. It combines pitch, roll, yaw, throttle, trim, and basic aircraft systems in one device, eliminating the need for additional hardware like pedals or separate throttle levers.

The controller features a precise analog stick for controlling pitch and direction, four individually adjustable throttle levers with interchangeable caps, an integrated trim wheel, rear paddle controls for the rudder, as well as physical buttons for the landing gear, flaps, and parking brake. Honeycomb emphasizes the use of TMR and Hall Effect sensors, which are expected to provide greater precision and durability.

Marc Küpper, CTO of Honeycomb Aeronautical, stated that the goal of this device is to bring flight simulation closer to a wider audience of players, especially those who want to play on a console and without a traditional desktop setup.

The Honeycomb Aeronautical Echo Aviation Controller XPC is expected to start shipping in the fall of 2026.
