As Genshin Impact approaches its major expansion in Snezhnaya with version 7.0, more and more rumors are circulating online about one of the most anticipated characters in the game – Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon and leader of the Fatui.
The latest unofficial information suggests that Tsaritsa may not be the (main) antagonist that many have imagined over the past years. According to claims from a leaker known as Little Puppet, Tsaritsa is reportedly not going to be a main DPS character, but will focus on supporting the team and new Cryo mechanics that are expected to be introduced with the arrival of the Snezhnaya region. Since the information is unofficial, its credibility should be approached with caution. If proven accurate, this could mean that Tsaritsa will become a playable character. Previous practices have shown that some morally ambiguous characters like Tartaglia, Wanderer, and Arlecchino have been playable in Genshin Impact, while outright villains like La Signora and Il Dottore have never become part of the playable roster.
Another leak, attributed to the leaker Full Stop Chan, states that Tsaritsa is expected to become available in version 7.3. Like previous Archons, she is expected to be among the most powerful characters in the game during her release period. According to the same rumors, Tsaritsa is supposed to have blue hair with a silver sheen and will use a tall female character model, similar to that of Raiden Shogun and other adult heroines.
However, it is worth noting that HoYoverse has not yet officially confirmed any of these details. All information is based solely on data leaks and may change before the official presentation.
