The new cooperative space adventure from the Astroneer universe takes players on joint expeditions, exploring planets and battling the dangers of deep space.

System Era Softworks and Devolver Digital have announced that STARSEEKER, a new game set in the Astroneer universe, will enter Early Access on June 11, 2026. The game will be available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 at a price of €29.99.

STARSEEKER is a cooperative space adventure where players join the crew of the space station ESS Starseeker. Together with friends or other players, they embark on expeditions to unknown planets, solve major planetary tasks, gather new technology, and face the dangers of deep space, including aggressive alien creatures and other unpredictable threats.

Although the game is heavily focused on cooperative play, STARSEEKER can also be played solo. Players will be able to complete objectives on their own or connect with others at the station to work together towards common progress. All activities contribute to a larger goal, and further gameplay unlocks new exploration opportunities.

The centerpiece of the experience will be the ESS Starseeker, a large space station that serves as a permanent base for players. There, expeditions will be planned, equipment and abilities upgraded, and socializing with other space explorers will take place before heading out on new missions.

Before the Early Access launch, a new public playtest will begin on June 4, 2026. The good news for interested players is that progress made during the playtest will carry over to the full Early Access version of the game. STARSEEKER will be released on June 11, 2026, for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
