Maseylia: Echoes of the Past, a 3D metroidvania platformer from Sol Brothers, is set to release on July 19, 2026, for PC via Steam. Versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch are planned for a later date.
The game takes players into a vast techno-organic labyrinth where exploration, unlocking new abilities, and returning to earlier parts of the world will play a significant role. The creators emphasize a blend of classic 2D metroidvania structure with modern 3D platforming mechanics, focusing on freer movement, hidden passages, and gradually uncovering new areas.
At the heart of the experience will be exploring ruins, overcoming obstacles, and using new powers to open previously inaccessible paths. Maseylia: Echoes of the Past thus targets players who enjoy a combination of platforming, exploration, and the atmosphere of a mysterious world.
