Super Spin Digital has announced Ligmanauts, a physical multiplayer platform game for PC where players jump, roll, and catch through unusual challenges together.

The Australian studio Super Spin Digital, known for the game Spin Rhythm XD, has announced its new project Ligmanauts. It is a chaotic physics-based multiplayer platformer coming to PC via Steam.

Ligmanauts is designed as a co-op platformer for 2 to 8 players, focusing on fast, messy, and comedic collaboration. Players roll, bounce, grab, swing, jump, and use boosts through compact challenging worlds, with the game rewarding creative movement and teamwork more than perfect precision.

According to technical director Stephen Last, the game started as a simple co-op concept where players controlled a single vehicle together. During development, experimenting with physics controls transformed the idea into a game about characters rolling, colliding, and grabbing objects, which led to the creation of Ligmanauts.

The game will support online multiplayer for up to 8 players, local split-screen co-op for up to 4 players, drop-in/drop-out play, multiple themed worlds, replayable scenarios, shared progression, cosmetic add-ons, and emotes. Between challenges, players will be able to hang out in the Playground Hub, a permanent space where toys, mini-games, and add-ons are unlocked.

Ligmanauts will also feature an original Liquid DnB soundtrack, and more information about development and the release date will be announced later.
