Ryu Ga Gotoku and SEGA have announced new gameplay for the upcoming Virtua Fighter Crossroads, which is certainly one of the most anticipated titles in the fighting genre. Although the story will be somewhat unusual for the series, i.e., more focused on an open-world type, fans will get their fill in the VS Battle mode where the fights will be just like in previous titles.
The combat in Virtua Fighter Crossroads will aim for a more realistic portrayal compared to Tekken and Street Fighter. We will have the ability to knock down opponents and perform attacks while they are on the ground.
Virtua Fighter Crossroads is set to release sometime in 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X/S.
