Nintendo showcased a new trailer for Splatoon Raiders, a new single-player adventure set in the world of Splatoon, during the Nintendo Direct held on June 9, 2026. The game is set to release for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, 2026, and the new showcase provided an additional look at the exploration, action, and colorful chaos that the series is known for.
Unlike the main Splatoon games, Splatoon Raiders places a greater emphasis on a standalone adventure. Nintendo has not revealed all the details yet, but it has been confirmed that the game will receive its own Splatoon Raiders Direct on June 30, 2026, where more information about gameplay and content will be presented.
Alongside the game, special Joy-Con 2 controls have been announced, and Splatoon 3 will have a special event related to the release of Raiders. Nintendo will thus further expand the Splatoon story on Nintendo Switch 2, this time through a dedicated adventure intended for a single player.
