The development is going in a good direction.

During an appearance on the podcast The Games Business, Amazon Games' host Jeffrey Gattis stated that Tomb Raider Catalyst has been delayed to 2028. "Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is coming out on February 12, and we will immediately follow it up with Catalyst, which is coming out in 2028," Gattis said.

It seems that his statement is not entirely accurate, as a representative from Amazon Games told Gematsu that the team has no new information to share regarding the release of Catalyst, but that development is going in a good direction and they are happy to reveal more information soon.

Tomb Raider Catalyst was announced in December 2025 and is being developed by Crystal Dynamics for PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X/S, and was originally planned for 2027. Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is also in development, which was also announced in December 2025 and was supposed to be released this year, but has been pushed to February 17, 2027.
