Document checks are just the beginning, as in this shift even perfectly organized papers do not mean that everything is fine.

Security 51, an atmospheric horror simulator of a security guard inspired by games like Papers, Please and SCP paranoia, is coming to Steam on July 27, 2026. It puts players in the role of a security officer deep within Area 51, where the basic task seems straightforward: allow in those who have access and stop those who do not. The problem is that in this facility, things quickly become unclear, even when documents, faces, and instructions appear correct at first glance.

In addition to checking IDs, the game requires monitoring entries and exits from the facility, adhering to constantly changing protocols, and spotting anomalies that defy logic. Security 51 gradually builds a sense of unease through doubt in every person at the checkpoint, as well as in the very orders the player receives.
