Creative Assembly officially revealed Alien Isolation 2 during the Summer Game Fest 2026, the sequel to one of the most intense survival horror experiences of the past decade. The studio had previously confirmed that it was working on the return of this series, but now we also know the official title of the game and the first details from the showcased material.
According to the initial information, Alien Isolation 2 will not necessarily remain in the space environment of the first installment, but part of the story will be set on the ground. At the center of the showcased material is the Kurosaki Station colony, a place that clearly becomes the new hunting ground for the Xenomorph.
The first look suggests that Creative Assembly wants to retain what made the original memorable: a sense of constant threat, slower tension building, and horror where the enemy is not just an obstacle, but a force to hide from and flee. A release date has not yet been confirmed, but Alien Isolation 2 has been announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
