Elon Musk plans for his XAI Game Studio, which was founded earlier this year, to launch a video game completely generated by artificial intelligence by the end of 2026. The studio currently has only eight employees, and the idea is for "Grok AI" to take over most of the creative tasks.
Musk did not reveal the genre of the game, but claims that "it will be great". However, there are obstacles: Valve does not allow fully AI-created titles to be published on the Steam platform. Also, it is not yet clear whether the game will be sold traditionally or will have a different monetization model.
The plan is ambitious and challenging — Musk's studio has a big task ahead of it, and time will tell if it will be successful.
