It's Sony published the latest PlayStation5 console sales data: a total of 80.3 million PlayStation 5 consoles were shipped worldwide by June 30, 2025, while 2.5 million were sold in the spring quarter (April 1–June 30), which is 100,000 more than in the same period last year.
The number of active PlayStation Network users increased from 116 to 123 million.
A total of 65.9 million copies of games (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4) were sold, even 12.3 million more than last year, with the growth of Sony's first party titles by 900,000 copies. Physical games account for 17%, digital 83% of total sales
