Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have announced Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, the sequel to the action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The game is confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, with a release planned for early 2027. It will also be available through Game Pass.
The story is once again set in the late period of the Eastern Han dynasty, at a time when powerful warlords are fighting for supremacy, and heroes of the Three Kingdoms era begin to leave their mark in history. Players will take on the role of an unnamed warrior who battles through vast battlefields, confronts dangerous enemies and demonic beings, and masters a more advanced system of Chinese martial arts.
The first Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty surpassed five million players worldwide, and in celebration of the sequel's announcement, it is once again available through Game Pass for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 3, 2026, and includes the base game, three DLC packs: Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, and Upheaval in Jingxiang, as well as additional content from collaborations with the games NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, Lies of P, and Nioh 2.
