Square Enix has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts IV is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. The release date has not been announced yet, but the new teaser trailer confirmed that the game will be available on all platforms at launch. The new installment once again follows Sora, who finds himself in the mysterious city of Quadratum, along with the return of familiar characters and new worlds that will be detailed later.
Alongside Kingdom Hearts IV, Kingdom Hearts Collection [I ~ III] has been announced, a collection set to release on October 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The package includes Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind, and all three editions will also be available for purchase separately. The collection brings the complete Dark Seeker saga, from Sora's beginnings on Destiny Islands to the final battle against the forces of darkness, while the demo for Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind is already available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2.
