Square Enix has officially announced Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the third and final part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. The game is set to release in spring 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
The story follows Cloud Strife and his allies in a final showdown with Sephiroth, as Meteor looms over the planet and massive Weapons wreak havoc across the world. Revelation brings free exploration of the planet with the help of the legendary airship Highwind, new regions like Midgar and Wutai, and a fully assembled party.
Confirmed as new playable members are Vincent Valentine and Cid Highwind, and the combat system also introduces the Fits mechanic, which unlocks new fighting styles and abilities through various clothing combinations.
