Playtonic Friends and Playtonic Games have announced Super Yooka-Laylee Kart, a new arcade racer that is currently confirmed for PC via Steam. The release date has not yet been announced, but multiplayer beta testing has been announced before launch.
The game brings Yooku, Laylee, and other familiar characters into a fast-paced karting adventure with an emphasis on precise driving, advanced techniques, and tactical weapon usage. A special feature is the Rage system, which allows for major comebacks during races. Players will be able to go through the campaign, play online races, local multiplayer for up to eight players, Time Trial modes, and customize their own race rules.
